Welcome to our site. The Southeast Louisiana Bible Institute (SLBI) was organized to bring specific and intensive training in ministry and service to Christ and His church in southeast Louisiana and the surrounding region. The simple biblical fact is we are given the same responsibility through God's word that the Apostle Paul gave as God's charge to the evangelist and preacher Timothy-
"You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others." - 2 Timothy 2.1-2
